Greek Independence Day

March 25 is Greek Independence day. Like the St. Patrick's Day parade route, in NYC, the route has a blue line painted down the center.

Starts at 1:30 PM Sunday March 25, 2012, running on 5th Avenue from 64th to 79th Streets. 

The currency in Greece is the Euro. It comes in coin and note in various denominations.
